UppTalk is calling and texting app that can make free calls to landline or any mobile. I joined UppTalk when it was still called yuilop and it's 5 million users were mainly based in Europe. As a UX designer my responsability was to redefine the first user experience for launching yuilop in United States. This lead to a full product review, the company and product rebrand as UppTalk and my promotion to Product Manager.
As Product Manager I was responsible to define and execute a concise product strategy where all stakeholders would work together towards the perfect cloud phone experience. This also means defining the tasks and writing the specs for 12 people in the following teams: Android, iPhone, Windows Phone, Core and Product.
After UppTalk's acquisiton by MásMóvil, a spanish mobile carrier, I got under my supervision UppTalk's online business. Always having the user, but now looking for engaging and unconventional ways to improve the revenues and the phone experience.
